Katy Jordan is an award-winning video journalist, producer, and storyteller based in Boston. She largely works in documentary film, non-profit, and media. She currently serves as a producer for the award-winning documentary, A Fine Line, now airing on PBS, which explores why less than 7% of head chefs and restaurant owners are women.
Katy has reported on spot news, human interest, crime and politics, including local and national political races. She covered the 2012 presidential campaign with special focus on Mitt Romney's bid for the White House. She has co-produced documentary films, and her print and video work has been featured in outlets such as the Huffington Post, Christian Science Monitor, AJ+ and others.
She earned her Master's degree in journalism from Emerson College, where she has served as an adjunct professor of journalism. She currently works as an adjunct instructor in Northeastern University's School of Journalism, and in non-profit communications. Reach her at katy@katyjordanmedia.com
